Get Ready For The 2016 Durango Autumn Arts Festival
Whether you’re thinking about moving to Durango or are lucky enough to already call this beautiful part of the country home already, there’s always plenty of things to see and do, regardless of the time of year. And now that the summer season is coming to a close, many Durango residents are already starting to look towards what’s happening in town this fall.
Like every year, one of the most highly anticipated fall events in Durango is the Durango Autumn Arts Festival—an event that’s often dubbed Colorado’s premier outdoor fine arts and crafts festival.
Taking place along East 2nd Avenue in beautiful downtown Durango, the 2016 Durango Autumn Arts Festival will feature 90 handpicked artists from over 200 that applied to be a part of the event, which range from contemporary painters and sculptors to some of the best ceramic artists from all over the country.
Along with all the fabulous artwork on display, a live music stage will also be providing entertainment to festival-goers all throughout the weekend, which includes a set from local favorite Kirk James Blues Band.
As always, the Durango Autumn Arts Festival is brought to us by the amazing folks over at the Durango Arts Center, and this year’s premier sponsor is 1st Southwest Bank.
This year’s event will be on September 17th and 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., so we hope to see you all there!
