Where to Watch the Super Bowl LI in Durango

With Super Bowl LI now just one day away, many of us are busy prepping for the big and scrambling to put together last minute party ideas for what’s usually one of the most highly anticipated sporting events of the year. 

But if hosting a Super Bowl party really isn’t your thing, there’s plenty of options and opportunities around the Durango that should make for a great place to catch what many are saying will be one of the best Super Bowls in recent memory. And while this list is by no means comprehensive, here’s a quick look at what we were able to dig up in terms of what some of the best places to watch this year’s Super Bowl: 

Christ the King Church 

Durango’s Christ the King Church will be hosting a Super Bowl party this year, and everyone’s invited. Attendees are encouraged to being non-alcoholic beverages and football themed snacks, which will be judged by everyone attending. Prizes will be handed out to the winners, so swing by Christ the King Church over at 495 Florida Road if you’re still looking for a fun and safe place to watch the game. 

Derailed Pour House 

With 9 large-screen TVs and plenty of beer, hot wings, burgers, and other great food, Derailed Pour House right in the heart of Durango will be packed for this year’s big game. As always, space will be limited, but table reservations are available if you’re interested. 

Durango Brewing Co.

Playing host to the “Hangover Super Bowl Party,” Durango Brewing Co. will have the game playing on the big screen, and wearing a costume is also encouraged. So if you’re looking to drink local on Super Bowl Sunday, why not swing over to Durango Brewing Co. at 3000 Main Avenue.

Nothing says football like good wings, and here in Durango, there’s no better place for wings than Cuckoos Chicken House. With over 20 varieties of “mouthwaterin’ wings”, there’s truly a flavor for everyone.
